Multi-core cable consists of two or more copper wires surrounded by a sheath of PVC or polyethylene. Due to the nature of making and using narrow copper strands, these cables are very flexible and suitable for winding power supply routes. Normal or light flexible cables have group 5 annealed copper conductor, D type PVC insulation and ST5 type PVC sheath.
